The candidate for the Doctoral School demonstrates a keen interest in the current issues related to the discipline ‘Economics and finance’ (ekonomia i finanse). The candidate follows the latest trends in scientific research in the chosen discipline, and is familiar with the recent literature on the subject, as well as the research problems relevant to the global scientific community.
The candidate is motivated to conduct scientific research, prepare research projects and write academic texts. The candidate has a proven aptitude to work in a team and study at an advanced level. The candidate continuously develops competences required for academic work.
Admission process - step by step
1. Register in the recruitment system. Complete your personal and address details. There is no fee for participating in the recruitment process.
2. Enter your Master's degree diploma details.
3. Upload a photo.
4. Register for the selected program.
5. Upload the research project outline.
6. Submit the original documents to the Admissions Office (Katowice, Bogucicka 5, CNTI building, room 2/18). In justified cases, the rector may consent to providing scans in electronic form. The application should be submitted by June 11, 2024 by e-mail to: admissions@ue.katowice.pl. Request template can be found at our website linked below.
7. Attend an interview. You will be notified about the date via the recruitment system.
8. Check the results in your account in the recruitment system.
